How to Heal Gout & Foot Fungus
If you or someone you know suffers from Gout or some type of Foot Fungal infection, there's a number of things you can do to both ease the discomfort and heal it naturally.
The first thing to realise is that these types of inflammatory and fungal infections are almost always a sign of something else that is occurring within the body.
When you experience Gout or Fungal infections in an extremity of your body (like your feet), it is generally the result of your body trying to dump toxins from the blood and lymphatic streams.
Gout is almost always a sign of poor circulation in the body. A fungal infection is usually the result of the skin feeding on itself due to being unable to breathe or constantly in a dark, moist environment without relief.
Read on to discover our recommended self care tips for avoiding and healing gout and foot fungal ailments.
1. A Healthy Diet
Step number 1 is to avoid ALL processed sugars and artificial sweeteners, including soft drinks, processed fruit juice products, and all products derived from refined white flour.
These items are highly inflammatory in the body because they cause the build up of acid. The secret to reducing inflammation and supporting optimum circulation and lymphatic function lies in ensuring that your body is in an alkaline state, because in this condition, infections cannot proliferate.
Dietary tips include:
- Boost your diet with fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and wholegrains
- Add good fats daily to your diet because of their anti-microbial qualities i.e. olive oil, flax seed oil, macadamia oil and raw cold-pressed coconut oil (for baking and frying)
- Eat plenty of Avocados
- Drink a green smoothie or eat a leafy green salad every day
- Have a shot glass of extra virgin olive oil before breakfast in the morning and also before bed time
- For pain relief, eat raw Cherries due to their powers for relieving pain and reducing inflammation in the body
2. Essential Oils & Salts
Foot Soak - Add 10-15 drops of tea tree oil to a large tub of warm water as a foot soak. Soak your feet for 20-30 minutes per day.
3. Movement & Foot Hygiene
For any lymphatic or circulatory-related ailment, it's crucial to move your body each day for at least 30-45 minutes to help open the channels of elimination.
A steady outside walk will do wonders to get your systems flowing or you can try other low impact exercises like yoga or cycling.
Whatever type of gentle exercise you can do or that appeals to you, the key is to just do it consistently. Walking on the beach barefooted with exposure to salt water can also speed up the healing process or even on soft grass at your local park.
It's important to be conscious of giving your feet the chance to breathe as often as possible, which means going for blocks of time without shoes and socks on throughout each day.
4. Other Self Care Tips
If you follow these above mentioned tips and don't see an improvement within 2-3 weeks, you could have a yeast infection like Candida.
If so, it's time to consider a more intense protocol to help eliminate all toxins stored in the colon, liver, kidneys and lymphatic stream.
A great way to go is our natural Colon Cleanse protocol, Cleanse Me, which will gather up stored plaque and waste stored in your digestive tract to help clear it out of the body and restore your digestive system.
Cleanse Me is a specific blend of Bentonite Clay, Ground Flax Seeds, Psyllium Husk, Dried Apple, Ginger and Cinnamon;
Also, products containing Colloidal Silver and Fulvic Acid have potent anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal qualities that can be very beneficial to speeding up the healing process.
Two products we handcraft that contain these natural ingredients include, Nature's Silver Bullet which can be both ingested for boosting immunity and also applied topically to relieve fungal infections.
And also, our Skin's Love Potion which is a soothing electro-magnetic skin remedy that contains Aloe Vera gel, Tea-Tree Oil and Oregano essential oil.
If all else fails, we recommend fasting on fresh raw green vegetables juices for 7-14 days to give your system a complete rest and the opportunity to restore itself and heal. If you do decide to fast, it's best to precede your fast with the colon cleanse protocol for 2-4 days prior to ensure that your digestive system is clear for maximum benefit.

Support the healing process by moving towards a cleaner diet rich in whole foods, incorporating plenty of good oils as well. Drink plenty of pure water each day and move your body moderately to boost circulation and to open up the eliminatory channels.
