The Top 5 Eliminatory Foods

Are you feeling bloated, fatigued and sluggish?

Chances are, you're blocked up and toxic.

Now don't freak out, when I say toxic I mean that there could be a toxic build up in your body that needs to be eliminated.

Toxicity in the body can be caused by a poor diet, impure water, exposure to toxic personal care items (think deodorant, store-bought toothpaste and more), air conditioning, air pollution and so much more.

Now I'm not gonna tell you that there's a quick-fix miracle pill that will fix all of this because there's not!

Embracing the "7 Principles of Health" on a consistent basis is the only true answer over time and distance for being healthy, radiant and disease-free.

But if you've been experiencing a toxic build up, there is something you can do to eliminate these toxins, and that's turning to nature with my top 5 eliminatory foods.

Cucumber

Cucumber is such a miracle food because of its high water content. When you're eliminating toxicity, you'll need to concentrate on adding fibre into your diet. In saying that, you also need to be sure that you get the extra fluid you need when you're consuming more fibre than normal.

Cucumber is also packed with vitamin C, silica, potassium and magnesium, which all support the colon and help to strip the body of excess toxins.

Green beans

Green beans are an excellent source of vitamin C, vitamin K and vitamin A. They are also renowned for their concentration of carotenoids including beta-carotene, dietry fibre, folate and iron.

Green beans are extremely helpful when it comes to preventing colon cancer. Any imbalance within the colon causes a massive imbalance in the body, and an unhealthy colon is the initial source of most dis-ease. Green beans fight colon cancer through the use of vitamin C and beta-carotene, which help protect the colon cells from the damaging effect of free radicals.

Flaxseeds

When it comes to eliminating toxicity, fibre is the key. Flaxseeds are jam-packed with fibre, as well as omega-3 fatty acids. Flaxseeds have been used since ancient times to cleanse, clear and heal the digestive organs and system.

Flaxseeds eliminate toxins from the body, normalise the metabolism, reduce blood sugar and regulate the appetite. They also absorb toxic compounds that are trapped in the body. Flaxseeds also supply the body with lecithin, which helps to stimulate the metabolisation of fat.

Psyllium husk

What a scrub for your insides! Psyllium husk is known as a bulking fibre, once you ingest it the husks will expand. Once it has expanded it draws water in and forms a gelatin-like mass in the colon.

Once the husks have expanded, they 'scrub' the inside walls of the colon and intestines, transporting leftover waist down the digestive tract. Psyllium husk provides the ultimate support for your colon and is a miracle in helping you make sure your number two's are healthy and regular.

Bentonite clay

Bentonite clay is the ultimate toxin absorber! It draws out and binds heavy metals and leftover toxins in the body. Bentonite clay is so effective because once it becomes hydrated, it generates a very strong electromagnetic field which it maintains throughout digestion. This electromagnetic field attracts and binds toxins and moves them through the digestive tract and out of the body.

This healing clay creates an intestinal contraction of the entire alimentary canal, to pull out the toxic rubbish from your intestinal walls like a magnet.

Make sure you support your body

By introducing these foods into your diet, you can help eliminate toxicity in the body. In saying this, you need to support these eliminatory foods by fueling the body with whole foods, by getting plenty of sunshine, pure water and moving the body.

Once you're doing all these things, you'll be amazed at how you feel.
