Why Food Should Be Your Medicine


What exactly did Hippocrates mean by "food"?

It's not a trick question.  

The reality is that today our society has become so manipulated, habituated and addicted to food-less foods and life-less drinks that we've actually lost touch with what food REALLY is.

A pretty box with a picture of food on the label is NOT food. Fast-food stores DO NOT serve food.  Products and supplements that say;  "all natural", "healthy, "low calorie", "diet" and so on are NOT food.  

Hippocrates was specifically referring to whole foods from nature's table when he made that famous statement.

Why?  Because anciently they understood that this is the stuff that our cells identify with because they occur in signature patterns representative of the human form.  In other words, they are the only foods that truly assist humans with health and healing. 

There's really no mystery to this.

Wholefoods are common foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts and seeds, herbs and spices that can be found in an abundance of colour and variety at your local farmers market.  And the beautiful thing is, they've not been processed in any way - nothing can beat that! 

By eating a diet rich in whole foods, you’ll get all the essential nutrients that you need for a slim, healthy and strong body.  

Wholefoods are jam-packed with vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients, essential fatty acids and fibres -  everything you need to be bursting with health!

It was during my 17-year quest, unlocking the wisdom of the ancients and living amongst 'off-the-grid' cultures, that I discovered the wonder of what they called "PHI" measures - the express relationship between foods that occur in nature and the human body.
